Before working with Noel, finishing an Ironman felt like a distant dream—something only “real athletes” could do. But thanks to his expert guidance, relentless support, and belief in my potential, I crossed the finish line at Ironman California stronger, more prepared, and more confident than I ever imagined.

From day one, Noel tailored a training plan that fit my life, not the other way around. He  balanced pushing my limits with keeping me healthy, and his attention to detail—whether it was pacing strategies, nutrition, or recovery—made all the difference. There were highs, lows, and everything in between, but I never felt like I was doing it alone.


Ironman California was tough—cold water, brutal winds, and a long day on the course—but I felt ready every step of the way. That’s because Noel didn’t just train me physically; he prepared me mentally for what it takes to endure and succeed.


I’m beyond grateful for his coaching, and I genuinely don’t think I would’ve made it to that finish line without him. Following a devastating knee injury and subsequent surgeries I knew I wanted to prove to myself that I can still do hard things. Running and to be honest cardio in general has never been my one of my strengths, I will take a barbell over running shoes any day. However, with weekly plans tailored to fit my needs and what feels like 24/7 support from Noel and Coco I have found myself enjoying every single run. In just a few short months I have set a new personal record on my 5K, a time which prior to coaching hadn't changed in years! I am currently working towards a January marathon with their help and I now have plans to compete in my first ever Ironman 70.3. I know that by following the program built for me I will show up on race day ready to run. If you are on the fence about using personalized training plans versus those cookie cutter race plans found on Google coaching by Noel and Coco is the way to go, I promise it is so worth it!

I had the awesome and unique opportunity to meet Coach Noel this weekend for the first time! I drove 5hrs to upstate Vermont to get specialize 1-on-1 training with the one and only Noel Mulkey! It was definitely worth the drive. 
I had been watching his instagram videos for the past couple months and was truly impressed in the high level of athleticism that Coach Noel is at for his Ironmans. With having so much experience in not only completing Ironmans but winning tons, Coach Noel was my go-to when it came to getting feedback and tailored advice. The best way I got this advice was through getting coached in person with him at this coaching center he has established at his residence. When I arrived he was so excited to meet me and it felt like I had known him for longer than just a week! After a good night’s rest, we started strong Saturday morning with a track sprint workout. I thought i was decent at running and then coach Noel tested my agility and speed with some really tough sprint workouts which lasted a few hours. That was only the start of that day, because after we did a full upper body weight workout with abs. To relax, we hit the town for some local cuisine and it was such a quiet and sweet little town! 
On Sunday, we did a separate running workout with a long tempo run focused on building speed over long distances (such as the half marathon and full marathons required for Ironmans). That run definitely tested my ability to keep going fast for a long time and I realized that I had the potential to even go quicker and harder on future runs!
Monday I was put through Noel’s FTP test and that was one of the hardest I’ve cycled for 20min straight! Realizing my true power output made me realize that I can become a beast on the bike and Noel helped me realize this! I did a 1300yd Swim Test at the pool for analyzing my form and speed afterwards. All these sprints made me truly exhausted but it was this pressure that helped me realize where I was at and what I needed to improve. 
From running technique to cycling and swimming form, coach Noel truly tested every part of my triathlon abilities in this weekend to not only gauge where I am at but to see the areas required to focus on for future success on race day. This has immensely helped see where I am at now and what I need to do to in training to mold myself for future Ironmans. Thank you Coach Noel for your gracious hospitality and tedious training sessions that I will remember throughout my training with you as my coach! Can’t wait for more sessions in the future and for some really hard workouts that will definitely make me stronger than the day before. No matter your ability, Noel’s training is specialized for you to push your ability beyond means that you think you’re capable of and you will only get better from there.
